BY POPULAR DEMAND: A NEW WIDTH PURUS CHANNEL
CUSTOMER DEMAND PROMOTES THE PURUS CHANNEL 150 FROM BESPOKE TO OUR STANDARD RANGE
After manufacturing the Purus Channel 150 as a bespoke model for just over six months, we decided to promote it to our standard range, starting from 2022.
The standard lengths currently available in this range are 800mm, 1000mm and 1200mm. The model is available with either a central or end positioned outlet, and can be used with four different floor types: concrete, resin, tiled floors with gluing flange and vinyl flooring. The Purus Channel 150 is a narrow drainage channel with high flow capacity, manufactured in acid-resistant stainless steel for installation in concrete floors.
Outlet gullies are available in plastic and stainless steel; and a range of grate types can be used. The Chess grate has a load class of K3 for bare-feet environments, while the L15 and M125 Mesh grates are suitable for heavier traffic. The Purus Channel 150 is most commonly used in commercial kitchens, hospitals, factories and spa facilities.
ÅSTORPS EVENT HALL
An upcoming project with Åstorp’s new event hall in northwestern Skåne, Sweden, will be a facility for schools’ and nurseries’ sports activities, including floorball activities at the Allsvenskan and at elite level, and for other sports associations in the area. The contractor for the project, Bravida Prenad, chose to install Purus’ stainless steel channels including the Channel 150, Channel Square, Channel Volume and Channel Cleaning Room.
