Purus’ V220 Sediment Traps are designed to stop the deposition of substances such as plaster and sand, which are often flushed through the outlet and block the sewer pipe. These are usually placed in connection with stainless steel workbenches and laundry chutes. Solid particles are separated from the water and are held back in the bottom of the bucket, which can then be removed for emptying and cleaning. The V220 Sediment Traps are often used in art facilities and have been installed in Leeds Beckett University’s art studios and the Camberwell College of Arts, amongst a number of other universities, colleges and art schools. They are also ideal for health facilities including dental surgeries and hospitals.
